I’ve been re-elected as a Labour councillor for the Kingsway Ward today and I am very grateful for the support that I have received during the election campaign and from the votes cast. I am thankful that the majority of Kingsway residents have put their trust in me and Labour again. This has been my second election within 5 months and I have really enjoyed meeting many residents during this time. I intend and hope to meet many more of you over the next four years.
The results for Kingsway Ward were as follows:
Labour (Me): 2,126
UKIP: 424
Conservatives: 303
I am elected to represent all Kingsway Ward residents. I will work as hard as I can for you and the area as part of your Labour team for Kingsway, alongside June and Margaret.
