Stewards Ave/Liverpool Rd Public Footpaths and Anti Social Behaviour

Today I’ve been out delivering public consultation letters with members of the Community Safety team to houses on Stewards Avenue, Kipling Crescent, Burns Crescent, Hood Road and a small part of Liverpool Road.  The purpose of the consultation is to gather affected residents views on gating off the two public footpaths that connect Stewards Avenue and Liverpool Road by the Albion Pub and St Raphael’s Church.

These footpaths have been blighted by anti social behaviour in recent years, which has caused many problems for nearby residents.  Myself and ward colleagues are investigating a number of ways to tackle the anti social behaviour problem.  I fully support the gating off of the footpaths to enable residents to have a better quality of life.

If you have received a letter today, please respond to it with your views as we need the majority of residents to respond to the consultation to ensure we have as many residents’ views as possible.  The closing date for responses is Friday 17th July 2015.

If you need assistance in returning your response I will happily collect and return it for you, just contact me if you need help.

Best wishes,

Andrea
